Data protection and your rights

Data, purposes, recipients, transfers, security and rights under the UK GDPR.

Who is responsible for the processing

The controller for the data processed at https://sizzledesire.uk is the private, non-commercial operator of the site. That individual determines the means and purposes of processing under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Contact is through the form on this site.

How to complain

If something about your data worries you, please raise it first through the site's contact form. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the United Kingdom supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights over your data:

  • Access: obtain your data.
  • Right to rectification: fix data that is wrong.
  • Right to erasure: ask for your data to be deleted.
  • Right to restriction: limit how your data is used.
  • Objection: object to how your data is used.
  • Portability: obtain your data in a portable form.
  • Withdraw consent: whenever processing is based on consent.

Server logs

On each visit, technical data is logged automatically including IP address, timestamp, the page requested and browser type. It supports security and is erased after a short time.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets only strictly necessary cookies. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), advertising or analytics cookies are set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Your browser settings also let you refuse cookies.

Updates

We revise this policy if the law or the service changes. The version published on this site is the one that applies.

Who processes your data

Your data is not sold or passed on for marketing. The host, Krystal Hosting Ltd, acts as a processor on our instructions under Article 28 of the UK GDPR, and does not use your data for its own purposes. Data is otherwise disclosed only where the law requires.

Why your data is processed

We process data to run the site securely and reply to your enquiries. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site (Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR), and, where required, your consent under Article 6(1)(a). We never sell or rent your data.

Data we collect

Only the data needed to deal with your request is collected. No special category data, as defined by the UK GDPR, is requested.

  • Your details: the name you provide.
  • Contact: your email address and, where you wish, a phone number.
  • Location: the town or postcode you provide.
  • Your message: the details you send about Casual hookups.
  • Connection data: IP address, date and time of the request.

Where your data is held

Your data is not transferred outside the United Kingdom. If a transfer were ever necessary, it would be covered by the safeguards in Chapter V of the UK GDPR, for example an adequacy decision or an International Data Transfer Agreement.

Deletion

Data is retained no longer than the purpose requires. Access logs are erased shortly after collection, and form data once your enquiry is handled, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

How your data is protected

Your data travels over a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access is limited to those who need it, and appropriate technical and organisational measures guard against loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure.
